from us, to you

There is a traveling family that offered to take pictures of our little one, thanks Stefany and Nate. It means so much to us. And I hope one day we can do the same for many families. Keith and I were scrambling around , trying to find a few things to send to her. Found some great hammy downs from my nieces, found her size(we hope) and off it went.

I kept her things close to my heart that day, laying her onesies on my shoulder, feeling the texture of her clothes, knowing that she will be wearing these soon against her skin and holding these things in her hands. It was a moment, a moment I will not forget. It was not the items that we sent that meant so much. but knowing that these items that we touched, she will touch. It warmed my heart, and then made me feel really sad. I wish we could be there, but this is where we are in this process.

We are still praying so hard for many families awaiting there court dates, there is not one day that goes by that my thoughts aren't with you.

Also thank you so much for your wonderful post of congrats, it meant so much and we look forward to the day we can share our little one to the world....

Okay, help me here. Can we send things to our baby?!? I feel so stupid here. I would have been sending stuff to Annsleigh but I thought we couldnt, but maybe you cant ship stuff, but other families can take stuff. GEEZE! What was I thinking?!?! And now I feel bad :( .....and sad...By the way, we would like to take pics for you if you'd like. We have a tentative visa appt of June 25.

Beautiful....

I hear you on the happy and sad bit. I was just telling myself I needed to keep it together because it's bound to get MUCH more intense as the days continue to go along.

Again- YAY! Our little one's are together right this minute. Or at least closer than you and I are. CONNECTIONS.

The blog looks so great!!!!

Oh, I remember sending Birhanu a package. Isn't it the best feeling knowing that what you touched will soon be in the hands of your little lady. So great!
