One year ago today, I was a scared mama to be...I remember that day as if it was yesterday, waking up from not sleeping, electricity out, dripping wet hair, heart raising, shaking, putting on a beaded necklace in hopes that she wouldn't be as frightened to come to me, tears coming down my cheeks and air filling my lungs, heart slowing down, she's here, she's in my arms, I did it, we did it, we are together at last, what a gift she is to us and everyone who knows her. Today we celebrate with a heavy heart as we think of her family and there sacrifices, and the wonderful life they gave us...our daughter.... Happy One year together lovey
